about mani

I’m Mani Subramanian. I’m a world traveler, yogi, landscape photographer, hiker, and  volunteer for worthy causes.

The years wrinkle our skin, but lack of enthusiasm wrinkles our soul. ~ Socrates.

I live by this mantra. I’m glad to inspire many people with my adventure pictures filled with nature’s beauty and goodness! I love spreading positive vibes and often sharing images of nature from the places I have traveled.

I enjoy traveling around the world, learning about new cultures, and connecting with new people. I’m very fortunate to have visited many countries across all continents, and I’ve climbed mountains in Antarctica, Machu Picchu, Patagonia, and the Mt. Everest region in Nepal, among many other places I have explored.

Tiger Nest, Bhutan - Oct 2017

I have experienced and learned from various cultures, loved connecting with local people, and enjoyed being amidst beautiful surroundings. This experience has enriched me.

Mountains have taught me humility, but the people who live in the shadow of these mountains have taught me acceptance, respect, and kindness.

Throughout all these years, there have been many ups and downs. I persevered because the fire inside me burned brighter than the fire around me.

I bow deeply and express gratitude to my regular sadhana (practice) of living Yoga for keeping my mirrors clean and spreading love and light outward. Regular sadhana (practice) includes meditation, asana, pranayama, kirtan (singing), dancing, and walking through the wilderness forest. These sadhanas help me stay active and live life to the fullest.

I feel deeply grateful to be on this journey with each and every one of you. Thank you.
